The Ashiyane group, which coordinates with Iran’s Cyber Police (FATA) and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, carried out cyber-attacks against domestic opponents. These sanctions, including asset freezes and travel bans, are part of a campaign initiated in March 2026 against Iran’s judiciary. They create compliance obligations for crypto firms operating under MiCA regulation, with six new names now requiring transaction screening.
