The European Union has added the cryptocurrency exchange platform HTX to its sanctions list targeting Russia. Seven other platforms, namely EXMO, Rapira, BitPapa, Aifory Pro, WhiteBird, NoOnecrypto and Exnode, were also listed. These platforms will no longer be able to conduct transactions with Russian entities starting August 23. This measure aims to prevent the circumvention of Western financial sanctions through cryptocurrencies.
