Ethereum network fee revenue fell 51% year-on-year to approximately $64 million in Q2, even as transaction activity climbed significantly. The network processed 203.9 million transactions at 26 per second, up from 121.1 million at 15 per second a year earlier. Active staking reached a record 40.2 million ETH, representing about 33% of total supply. In ETH terms, revenue rose for the first time in over a year, suggesting the dollar decline mainly reflected lower ETH prices and cheaper blockspace rather than reduced usage.
