Emirates has officially launched Crypto.com Pay on its website and mobile app, enabling customers based in the United Arab Emirates to pay for their plane tickets using cryptocurrencies. This integration materializes a memorandum of understanding signed in July 2025 between the Dubai carrier and the exchange platform. The service relies on the Stored Value Facilities (SVF) license obtained by Crypto.com from the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates. The operation is part of the Dubai Cashless Strategy, which aims to make 90% of financial transactions digital by the end of the year. Crypto.com, valued at $20 billion after a recent funding round led by Citadel Securities, is strengthening its foothold in the Emirati payment ecosystem.
