Bitcoin slumped below $77,000 after the new Fed Chair Warsh’s hawkish stance at the Jackson Hole symposium, before slightly recovering above that level. BTC had hit a new 15-week high of $81,500 on Thursday before being rejected by sellers. Bitcoin’s market cap now stands at $1.555 trillion, with dominance over altcoins still above 57%. Ripple’s XRP, which had peaked at $1.70 recently, dropped to $1.38. The total crypto market cap has declined by $80 billion to $2.720 trillion.
