Bitcoin starts the weekend around $78,000 following a failed breakout attempt above $81,000 on Aug. 28. Hawkish remarks from Kevin Warsh at Jackson Hole raised September rate-hike odds to roughly 55%, erasing Bitcoin’s gains and turning $80,000 back into resistance. The $77,000 level now serves as immediate support to defend, with a first bearish target toward $75,000-$75,500 if lost. Approximately 81,700 Bitcoin options worth $6.44 billion expired on Deribit Friday, while US spot Bitcoin ETFs posted nine consecutive days of net inflows totaling around $3 billion through Aug. 27.
