Bitcoin Slumps But These Mining Stocks Are Up Thanks to AI Deals

Hut 8 signed a 15-year lease for 352 megawatts at its Beacon Point campus in Texas, doubling the site’s capacity to 704 MW. IREN Limited announced $2.8 billion in new AI cloud contracts. As Bitcoin mining becomes more difficult, several miners are pivoting to high-performance computing services to capitalize on surging AI demand.
