Bitcoin Red Team announced that it identified 4,962 potential security issues during the first 29.8 hours of its audit operation. These issues were found across 390 projects, with 720 classified as high or critical level problems. Approximately 21.4% of the findings have been successfully reproduced, confirming their validity. This audit campaign follows the hack of the Coldcard hardware wallet, which resulted in over $100 million in Bitcoin being stolen. At least 15 attackers exploited the Coldcard vulnerability.
