Bitcoin price oscillated around $64,000 on Wednesday, caught between macroeconomic and geopolitical headwinds. Oil prices surged 7.6% for WTI and 5.4% for Brent due to escalating US-Iran tensions, with President Donald Trump threatening Iran with a « beating. » Markets await the US Federal Reserve’s interest-rate decision, with 66.3% odds that the current 3.5%-3.75% rate will be maintained and 33.7% odds of a 0.25% hike. Bitcoin had hit 11-day lows of $62,700 the prior day.
