Bitcoin ETF Inflows Surge Following $130M Coldcard Hack

Inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs have surged following the Coldcard hack. Major U.S. funds managed by BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale and Morgan Stanley received $626 million in fresh capital following the attack. Hackers stole over $130 million in Bitcoin through a firmware flaw in Coldcard hardware wallets. Bloomberg Intelligence senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas highlighted that investors would be better off trusting large institutional managers with their Bitcoin. Bitcoin ETFs currently hold $77.8 billion in assets according to Coinglass data.
