Starting September 15, Binance will restrict its commodity perpetual futures contracts to a 24 hours per day, 5 days per week schedule instead of the current 24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation. The affected contracts include gold, silver, WTI crude oil, Brent crude, natural gas, platinum, palladium, and copper. Crypto perpetuals and equity-based traditional finance products such as TSLAUSDT and INTCUSDT will maintain their round-the-clock availability. Traders will need to account for the inability to adjust positions during weekends, limiting their ability to react to geopolitical events occurring outside market hours. This change is part of a broader trend of Binance refining its traditional finance perpetual product line launched in January 2026.
