Fortitude, a Zcash cryptocurrency miner backed by Barry Silbert, has brought a new mining facility online in Nebraska. The installation has a capacity of 12 megawatts. Direct cash cost per ZEC is expected to drop from approximately $70 to about $40. This reduction represents a decrease of roughly 43% in production cost per unit.
