The FIFA Club World Cup trophy visited Atlético Madrid’s Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium on January 22-23, 2025, as part of FIFA’s global tour promoting the expanded 32-team tournament. Approximately 300 young players from Atlético’s academy were able to see the trophy up close, in addition to a public display at the club’s Gran Vía store. The club qualified for the tournament and was drawn into a group alongside Paris Saint-Germain and Seattle Sounders. The competition is set to take place in the United States between June and July 2025.
