Apple’s memory costs for the iPhone 18 Pro have jumped 400% in a year, according to research firm TrendForce. The company is expected to pass some of that cost onto buyers, with estimates pointing to a roughly $100 price increase over the iPhone 17 Pro. This figure is softer than analyst Jeff Pu’s earlier estimate of $250 to $300. Apple had previously raised prices on Mac, iPad, and Apple TV in June, delaying iPhone increases as long as possible. The new iPhone lineup is expected to debut next week.
