American Bitcoin reports $57M Q2 loss as mining revenue hits $67M

American Bitcoin Corp posted a net loss of $57.2 million in Q2 2026, despite generating $67 million in mining revenue. The company grew its Bitcoin holdings by 14% to reach 8,002 BTC. These results mark an improvement from Q1, when the loss stood at $81.8 million on revenue of $62.1 million. Founded in March 2025 by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., the company has been listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker ABTC since September 2025. As a majority-owned subsidiary of Hut 8 Corp., it has accumulated combined losses exceeding $139 million over the first two quarters of 2026.
