Core DAO confirmed that some validators received excess CORE rewards without disclosing the amount involved. Coinbase suspended CORE sends and receives while LBank suspended deposits only. The incident, described as limited to reward issuance, did not affect user assets or network security according to the project. The exchanges await clarification on the link between the reward anomaly and the transfer restrictions applied.
