A 71,000% Profit Surge Is Taking Longsys to Hong Kong Investors

Shenzhen Longsys Electronics, a Chinese semiconductor company, is seeking to raise up to HK$6.28 billion (approximately $800 million) from a Hong Kong share sale. The company set the maximum offer price at HK$240.60 per share, representing a 45% discount to the Shenzhen closing price. The firm reported half-year net profit growth exceeding 71,000%, with revenue surging to 24.1 billion yuan. Longsys will allocate 78.3% of net proceeds to research and development. Cornerstone investors include Lenovo, Transsion International, CITIC Securities Asset Management and Lens Technology.
