Bitcoin briefly dropped to $76,700 after the latest inflation data before recovering toward $78,000, with this contained reaction indicating markets have largely absorbed the prospect of a 25-basis-point rate hike. Spot BTC ETFs recorded $462.7 million in net outflows over the holiday-shortened week, while Ethereum ETFs attracted nearly $197 million in net inflows during the same period. Friday alone saw $216.4 million in Ethereum ETF inflows, helping drive the weekly total despite earlier outflows. According to QCP Capital, this divergence reflects differentiated positioning between the two crypto assets, with Ethereum showing a significantly more positive short-term flow picture than Bitcoin.
