Nike Price Forecast: Can NKE Recover After Becoming the Dow’s Worst Stock?

Nike stock has fallen approximately 40% in 2026, becoming the worst-performing stock in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, with shares closing at $38.40 and a market capitalization of $56.97 billion, sharply down from $264 billion at the end of 2021. Wall Street’s average 12-month price target stands at $50.46, suggesting roughly 31% upside, while JPMorgan and Truist have recently lowered their expectations to $40 and $42 respectively. Nike is set to leave the S&P 100 on September 21, and fiscal 2026 revenue came in at $46.4 billion, roughly flat year over year, with wholesale gaining 6% but Nike Direct declining 6%. According to CoinCodex’s algorithmic forecast, the stock will remain under pressure through 2026 before staging a partial recovery in early 2027, with a potential high of $43.07 in February.
