Matter Labs, the developer behind ZKsync, has open-sourced the permissioning engine of Prividium, its DLT platform designed for financial institutions. Prividium enables financial sector companies to deploy applications on an Ethereum-compatible layer 2 blockchain infrastructure. Germany’s central bank, the Bundesbank, is currently testing the platform as part of its distributed ledger technology experiments.
