Starknet launched Shieldnet, a zero-knowledge privacy system now covering 45 ERC-20 assets. The STRK20 framework converts tokens into encrypted notes, hiding the sender, receiver, and amount of transactions while allowing selective disclosure to regulatory authorities. Unlike crypto mixers such as Tornado Cash, the system uses encrypted viewing keys for regulatory compliance. The DeFi protocols AVNU and Ekubo are already integrated, and the privacy pool has processed over 14,000 deposits with a TVL of approximately $350,000.
