TSMC alone has committed approximately $265 billion in Arizona, representing one of the largest foreign direct investments in US history. The European Union is promoting its Chips Act 2.0 to deepen collaboration with Taiwan, recognizing that its semiconductor ambitions require partnerships with countries capable of manufacturing cutting-edge chips at scale.
