Nvidia forecasts year-ahead revenue, aims to surpass Apple and Alphabet

Nvidia issued its first-ever full-year revenue guidance, projecting approximately 70% growth for fiscal 2028, translating to roughly $673 billion in annual revenue. The company reported $96.2 billion in second-quarter revenue, a 106% year-over-year jump, with data-center revenue reaching a record $89 billion, up 117% year over year. If achieved, these figures would position Nvidia behind only Amazon, surpassing both Apple and Alphabet in corporate revenue rankings, compared to the $27 billion the company generated five years ago. CEO Jensen Huang cautioned that supply constraints on high-bandwidth memory would cap actual shipments, implying that real customer demand exceeds even these bullish projections.
