Hezbollah terrorists trapped underground as IDF clears key southern Lebanon ridge

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have trapped Hezbollah terrorists in tunnel networks while securing the Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon. Israeli forces now control surface and subterranean areas used by Hezbollah for strategic purposes. This operation is part of a broader military campaign aimed at dismantling the group’s tunnel networks. According to prediction markets, the likelihood of Israeli forces withdrawing from beyond the Litani River by December 31 is now priced at 9.5%, down from 10%. The probability of Israeli strikes in multiple countries in 2026 is currently priced at 81.4%.
