Lighter’s LIT token leads the perpetual DEX token rally with a 99.5% gain over 30 days, outpacing bitcoin’s 26.9% rise over the same period. Volume across perpetual DEXs fell 30.13% to $20.85 billion per day over seven days, according to DefiLlama. Lighter has no public CFTC docket and has not filed for registration, despite its founder holding a seat on the agency’s advisory committee. Robinhood’s perpetual futures product built on Lighter, closed to U.S. users, now accounts for 11.6% of Lighter’s 30-day volume. Hyperliquid remains four to five times larger than Lighter by all volume measures, with $209.814 billion over 30 days versus Lighter’s $44.908 billion.
