Bitcoin Blasts Past $81,000 as Trump Weighs Ending Iran War

Bitcoin reclaimed $81,000 on Thursday as reports suggested the Trump administration was weighing an official end to the Iran war. Trump believes economic pressure alone will force Tehran to concede, but the conflict has now entered its sixth month with no clear strategy. The Fed also supported the rally: Governor Christopher Waller signaled he could back a September rate hold, with three-month core inflation slowing to 3.05% from 4.76% in February. Oil prices, however, painted a different picture, with Brent crude near $98 a barrel at a six-week high, reflecting ongoing geopolitical tensions. Bitcoin remains vulnerable and could drop toward $76,963 if strikes resume or if August inflation comes in hot.
