Robinhood Chain surpasses Polygon in DeFi total value locked

Robinhood Chain, the brokerage firm’s blockchain infrastructure, has officially overtaken Polygon in decentralized finance total value locked. According to DefiLlama, Robinhood Chain’s TVL stands between $791 million and $802 million, surpassing Polygon’s $788 million to $790 million range. Launched on July 1, 2026 as an Ethereum Layer 2 built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack, the chain grew from under $5 million to over $790 million in TVL in just nine weeks. This explosive growth is primarily driven by the lending protocol Morpho, which often accounts for over $300 million alone, alongside Uniswap deployments. Stablecoin supply on the chain reaches approximately $868 million to $872 million, actually exceeding its DeFi TVL, suggesting significant capital is parked on the network without being actively deployed in protocols.
