The Dow Jones gained nearly 300 points (0.6%) and the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite each rose 0.5%. The 2-year Treasury yield hit 4.41%, the highest level since January 2025, while the 10-year yield touched 4.818%, its highest since November 2023. New York Fed President John Williams said the rise in yields reflects a strong U.S. economy fueled by massive investments in AI and data centers. WTI oil settled just above $91 per barrel, and U.S. August payroll data will be released on Friday.
