Hyperliquid Labs, owner of the perpetual futures trading platform handling over $4 billion in daily trading volume, is in advanced talks with Payward, the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, to launch its products in the United States. Payward has submitted a proposal to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to use its subsidiary Bitnomial, acquired in May, to allow registered US traders to access perpetual futures tied to assets on the Hyperliquid blockchain. The deal, whose financial terms remain undisclosed, still requires regulatory approval and would mark Hyperliquid’s first direct push into the US market, where its main interface currently bars American residents. This model could serve as a template for other offshore crypto platforms seeking to serve US customers within the country’s derivatives framework.
