Webull, a self-directed brokerage platform, is expanding into Canada by adding cryptocurrency trading through Coinbase’s Crypto-as-a-Service infrastructure. Webull’s Canadian website currently displays 10 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ether and Solana, alongside stocks, ETFs and options. This expansion is driven by growing crypto adoption in Canada, where digital asset ownership has risen to 25% in 2024 from 10% in 2023, according to the Ontario Securities Commission. Canada is also preparing a regulatory framework for stablecoins with the Stablecoin Act introduced following the 2025 federal budget.
