Bitcoin ETFs Pulled In Near $1 Billion Last Week, So Why Is BTC Stuck Below $80,000?

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $924 million in net inflows from August 24 to August 28. BlackRock’s IBIT led with $938 million, according to SoSoValue data. Despite sustained demand, Bitcoin remained below the $80,000 threshold. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh delivered a hawkish speech at the Jackson Hole symposium on August 28, causing Bitcoin to drop from around $79,500 to below $77,000 in the hours that followed. August remains the strongest month on record for these products, with over $3 billion in net inflows. Bitcoin must now break above its 365-day moving average, near $83,000, to confirm a bull market.
