SOL holders have approved two out of three governance proposals submitted to on-chain voting. The governance constitution receives 95.35% support, while accelerating disinflation to 30% per year clears the two-thirds threshold with 68.77%. However, the daily burn mechanism of 7,500 to 9,000 SOL, representing up to $800,000 per day, is rejected at 62.72%. These results highlight the conflict between reducing supply to support the price and preserving validator and staker revenues, whose yield would drop from 5% to under 2.5%.
