Webull recorded a nearly 300% jump in buy-side orders for Bitcoin and Ether over the past week and a half, according to CEO Anthony Denier. This increase is linked to the June 4 repeal of the pattern day trading rule, which had limited frequent trading for accounts under $25,000. Bitcoin was trading near $78,919 at the time of writing. This regulatory change also reflected in Webull’s financials, with revenue rising from approximately $160 million in the first quarter to nearly $200 million in the second quarter. Anthony Denier also attributed the broader Bitcoin rebound to the U.S. Treasury’s recent Treasury purchase operations.
