Lazio and Sassuolo are in advanced negotiations for the transfer of Italian striker Andrea Pinamonti, with a total package approaching 14 million euros in a loan with an option to buy. The 27-year-old forward has already agreed to a five-year contract worth over 2 million euros per year. The two clubs are still negotiating the split between the loan fee and the purchase clause, with the buy option expected between 8 and 10 million euros and the loan fee around 2.5 to 4 million euros. Sassuolo paid 20 million euros to sign Pinamonti permanently from Inter Milan in 2023, meaning a sale in this range represents a loss, but the club accepts this situation to avoid losing him for free next summer when he has only one year left on his contract in June 2027. Negotiations are expected to conclude within the next 48 hours.
