GTA VI leak investigation video raises crypto scam suspicions

Share

A video showing Rockstar Games representatives visiting a pseudonymous X user (@LewisBi94895348, Reddit: Pilotx1970) has been flagged by platform users as a potential crypto scam. This user, who had predicted major GTA VI leaks on August 18, had also promoted a « GTA insider » cryptocurrency before deleting their posts. Users discovered that the account holder had previously been accused of scamming RC plane buyers on Facebook Marketplace, fueling speculation about the video’s authenticity. Take-Two has filed several subpoenas demanding that Microsoft, X and Discord provide details related to CyberLeek’s accounts, the main account behind the gameplay leaks. GTA VI will include a virtual currency called « Sharkbux, » which will not be considered a security under the Howey test.
