A group of crypto entrepreneurs has once again thrown sex toys onto WNBA courts to promote a memecoin called Green Dildo, one year after a similar scandal. The group also created NFTs and prediction markets on Polymarket, but over 80% of the coin remains controlled by seven wallets and more than half of the 1,000 NFTs offered have not been acquired. The individuals responsible have been arrested and indefinitely suspended from all WNBA and NBA games, and copycat incidents are declining faster than last year. The group now claims to support anti-transgender protests against transgender players in the league, despite zero trans athletes ever having played in the WNBA.
