Bitcoin eyes key short-term holder cost basis, signaling potential bullish trend

Bitcoin has reclaimed two key technical levels: the 50-day moving average and the short-term holder (STH) realized price. The STH realized price, which reflects the average cost basis of coins held for fewer than 155 days, stood around $67,124 to $67,152 in mid-August, while the 50-day moving average tracked in the $64,000 to $65,000 range. When Bitcoin trades above both levels, recent buyers are in profit, which tends to reduce panic selling and create conditions for further upside. Earlier this year, Bitcoin staged a rally in May after crossing above an STH cost basis of roughly $79,000, prompting analysts to float price targets as high as $92,000. Traders and analysts are now watching whether BTC can establish a firm foothold above the $67,000 level to confirm the current move has structural support.
