Prosus invests $100M in Indian fintech company Navi at $1.3B valuation

Dutch investment group Prosus has invested $100 million in Indian fintech company Navi, valuing the company at approximately $1.3 billion. This is Navi’s first-ever external institutional funding, after being bootstrapped by billionaire founder Sachin Bansal since its founding in 2018. Based in Bengaluru, Navi offers personal loans, home loans, health insurance, mutual funds, and UPI payments. The company is targeting an IPO in fiscal year 2027, pending customary regulatory approvals. Navi distinguishes itself from many fintech peers by its recent consolidated profitability, making it an attractive prospect for institutional investors.
