Celtic, Scottish champions, host LASK Linz, Austrian champions, in the first leg of a Champions League play-off on August 19, 2026 in Glasgow. The return leg is scheduled for August 25 in Linz. This is the first-ever competitive meeting between the two clubs. The winner across two legs will advance to the 2026/27 Champions League league phase. Celtic, managed by Martin O’Neill, and LASK, managed by Dietmar Kuhbauer, both arrive with their respective domestic titles secured.
