Chelsea has officially extended Brazilian forward Joao Pedro’s contract with a significant salary increase. The 24-year-old, who arrived from Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2025 for a reported fee between 55 and 63.7 million pounds, has signed an extension through June 2033. His previous annual salary was 6.5 million dollars. Extension talks began in late July, with a verbal agreement reportedly in place around August 1. Fabrizio Romano issued his signature « here we go » for the long-term extension in early August 2026.
