Ripple minted 10 million RLUSD tokens on the XRP Ledger on August 17, with transaction fees of just 0.000405 XRP. According to CoinGecko, the stablecoin has a market capitalization of 1.711 billion dollars and approximately 58 million dollars in 24-hour trading volume. RLUSD continues to expand internationally, with an official launch in Japan in June following approval from the Japan Financial Services Agency, and partnerships in Türkiye with BiLira, Bexen and Bitlo. In July, Ripple also strengthened RLUSD’s compliance and institutional payments infrastructure through a partnership with Notabene.
