Non-custodial wallet SafePal, backed by Binance, has disclosed a data breach affecting approximately 39,798 customers. A flaw in an order-tracking plugin allowed unauthorized access to order information placed between March 2025 and April 2026, including names, email addresses, shipping addresses, phone numbers, and purchase details. Wallet passwords, seed phrases, private keys, and crypto assets were not compromised due to isolated cold storage architecture. SafePal has fixed the flaw and notified all affected customers individually. The company warns that exposed order details may be used for sophisticated phishing attempts targeting affected users.
