Goldman Sachs is actively negotiating with banks, insurers and private credit firms to structure financing for Nvidia’s 500 billion dollar AI compute platform. Nvidia plans to commit no more than 25% of the capital, with the remainder coming from independent third-party investors. Partner institutions include Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield and KKR, which will mobilize over 500 billion dollars to fund AI infrastructure at an unprecedented scale. Identified risks include rapid depreciation of compute assets, where the useful life of collateral may be shorter than loan terms, as well as concentration risk tied to sustained demand for AI compute.
