Advanced Micro Devices is planning to raise between $4 billion and $5 billion through its largest-ever US dollar investment-grade bond offering. If the deal reaches the upper end, AMD would more than double its current long-term debt load of approximately $3.25 billion. The company joins Nvidia and Alphabet in tapping debt markets to fund AI-related investments. AMD is seeking to strengthen its position against Nvidia in the AI accelerator market with its MI-series products.
