Meta announced on August 10, 2026 the launch of a one billion dollar initiative called the Future Is For Everyone Fund, targeting US communities hosting its data centers. The fund will finance education, emergency services, environmental programs, and public infrastructure. Mark Zuckerberg published a manifesto outlining his vision for personal superintelligence, AI agents designed for individual users rather than institutions. The company also released the weights of the Muse Glimmer model with 30 billion parameters and plans to publish open source versions under the name Muse Spark 1.2.
