M.Video reported a 107% quarter-on-quarter surge in Q2 2026, while Wildberries & Russ saw an 84% year-over-year jump in unit demand. President Vladimir Putin signed a new digital asset law on August 4, taking effect September 1, 2026, which introduces a 300,000 RUB annual purchase cap for non-qualified investors and a 48-hour cooling-off period for transfers exceeding 100,000 RUB to non-custodial wallets. Ledger and Trezor dominate the market with roughly 60% of combined sales, despite average prices falling 13% to around 7,900 RUB.
