Oklo, an advanced nuclear startup, published its second-quarter 2026 financial results on August 7, reporting revenue of $1.21 million and a net loss of $48.5 million, compared to a $33.1 million loss in the first quarter. The company, which generated no revenue a year ago, is developing the Pluto reactor running on plutonium-bearing fuels along with an AI platform called Prometheus, in partnership with Idaho National Laboratory and NVIDIA. It secured the first Department of Energy site use permit ever issued for a commercial advanced fission plant and submitted the first custom combined license application to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
