XRP Ledger developers have officially released the major v3.3.0 update and launched validator voting on six key amendments. This version introduces Confidential Transfer, the first privacy tool built directly into the XRPL protocol, along with the Batch amendment allowing up to eight operations to be combined into a single atomic transaction. Other improvements include Permission Delegation for securing transactions from cold wallets, the Sponsor amendment to cover fees for new users, and Dynamic MPT to adapt token properties to regulatory requirements. To take effect, the amendments must receive and maintain at least 80% approval from validators for two weeks, representing a potential technological turning point for the XRP network.
