Jeff Bezos sold 15 million Amazon shares worth $4.07 billion this week through a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted on November 14, 2025, roughly eight and a half months earlier. The shares, acquired as founder stock in 1994, were sold on the same day Amazon’s market cap crossed $3 trillion following earnings that beat expectations. The stock fell more than 2% the next day once the filing became public. Bezos remains one of Amazon’s largest shareholders, having also donated 220,200 shares to nonprofits in May.
