Robinhood Chain’s DEX Volume Fell 72% While Transactions And Deposits Set Records

Robinhood Chain’s decentralized exchange volume dropped 72.5% between July 11, when it peaked at $878 million, and August 1, bottoming at $241 million. Meanwhile, all other key metrics hit records: 13.3 million transactions on August 5, total value locked reaching $433 million on August 6, and stablecoin supply hitting $597 million. The average trade size collapsed by 74%, falling from $105.56 to $27.82 per transaction. Over 90% of the network’s incentive payments, totaling $58,351 daily, go to depositors, with $53,808 directed solely to deposit rewards rather than trading liquidity providers. Built on the Arbitrum stack and launched on July 1, the chain’s share of global DEX volume fell from 16.65% at peak to 4.32% on August 2, according to DefiLlama data compiled by The Defiant.
